Recipes for Weight Gain Smoothie

There are lots of items you can add to Weight Gain Smoothie to increase nutrition and calorie count.

But to get you started, here are some guidelines:

Start with a simple, cheap kitchen blender. Most of us already have one of these in the kitchen. A basic blender will work with recipes that don't have a lot of solids that need to be blended.

Start simple using the following recipe and variations. (eliminate anything that doesn't agree with you):

Basic smoothie #1

  • 8 oz. of whole milk (white or chocolate)
  • 1 scoop of Vanilla Weight Gain Smoothie
  • Some vanilla extract (if you like)
  • Scoop of vanilla or chocolate ice cream
  • A few ice cubes if you like it colder (and you didn't use ice cream)
  • Blend for about 5-10 seconds and enjoy (mostly to get the ice cream blended)
  • This recipe should weigh in just under 500 calories

First addition to Smoothie #1

  • A second scoop of Vanilla Weight Gain Smoothie
  • This will get the calorie count up to about 750
  • You might need to add a little more liquid (milk or water)

Second addition to Smoothie #1 (to add some nutrition)

  • Peanut, Cashew, or Almond butter
  • Oils (olive, avocado, coconut)
  • Any other supplement you like (start with small quantities while you learn how to blend)

If you have a more powerful blender, consider adding some additional nutritional items. Start small and don't use all of these at the same time.

  • Frozen fruit of your choice
  • Banana
  • Hemp powder
  • Ground flax seed
  • A green or superfood supplement (if you can tolerate the taste!)

Keep experimenting until you build a list of ingredients and recipes that work for you!
